Yasmin is a first year MPA candidate concurrently pursuing an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in increasing access to capital for minority small business owners. This past summer, Yasmin worked at a FinTech start up, creating a financial product for food truck vendors that increased access to affordable business loans. She is a former IT Strategy Consultant at Accenture Federal Services and former Commissioner on the D.C. Mayor’s Commission on Latino Community Development, which represents 55,000+ Latinos in the District. Yasmin, a Florida native, holds a BSFS in Science, Technology, and International Affairs from Georgetown University.
